Welcome to our Preschool website.  We offer funded places for 3 and four years olds and a limited number of unfunded spaces for children aged 2 years.  We are unable to offer places to children below 2 years of age. 

Burford Preschool C.I.C. is a registered company managed by Company Director Jean Peters.  The Preschool operates from a demountable building in the grounds ofBurford C of E School,in the South Shropshire village of Burford, which also lies on the borders of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.  Although we are a separate entity, we do have close links withBurford C of E Schooland the majority of our registered children, transition into this school each year.  The Preschool was originally established in 1999 and was managed by a committee of parents until 12th July 2012 when it became a Community Interest Company. 

We are able to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those with English as an additional language. We are open for normal sessions five days a week during term time and for three days per week during some of the School Holidays for a Holiday Club.  

We aim to provide children attending BURFORD PRESCHOOL C.I.C. with a rich and varied invitations to learn to create awe and wonder.  The Child are our Curriculum - what they learn and how they learn is unique to them. We do not plan set topics or themes that adults expect the children to follow.  We encourage our children to be curious, inspired, and build confidence to explore and learn in a secure and safe, indoor and outdoor free-flow environment using loose parts and a variety of real items. 

We also aim to provide the highest quality relationships, experiences and environment for our children which enables them to leave us capable, strong, resilient and confident, ready for their next journey ahead.

Staff expertly help them to extend their knowledge and skills."
