30 HOURS FUNDED CHILDCARE

The Government offers 30 hours funded childcare to eligible families. We are pleased to support the scheme and are here to answer any questions you may have about the best way to fund childcare for your little one.

Is this for you?

To be eligible, you, and any partner, must each expect to earn (on average) at least £120 a week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) and be living in the same household!  If you, or your partner, are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you’re unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibilities, you could still be eligible.

You can’t receive 30 hours childcare if you, or your partner, expect to earn £100,000 or more.

If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a code – this will allow you to arrange your childcare place. Bring your code to us, along with your National Insurance number and your child’s date of birth. We will then check the code is authentic and allocate your child a funded childcare place, subject to availability.

FEES

Outside of funded hours, we charge a fee of £6.50 per hour for additional hours.  This is payable by BACS or via the Tax Free Childcare Scheme and is billed monthly in arrears.
